Zachary Sutton, DHA, MS, MSPAS, PA-C, DFAAPA, FACHDM
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, LIVING DONOR, AND CO-FOUNDER
Zachary was the first altruistic living kidney donor in South Carolina while a physician assistant student at the Medical University of South Carolina. He works in transplant outreach and telehealth for MUSC in Greenville, SC, and teaches at MUSC College of Health Professions and Medicine. He is a United Network for Organ Sharing Ambassador, National Kidney Foundation Medical Advisory Board Member and registered speaker, and a member of the American Association of Kidney Patients, the American Society of Transplant, and the American Academy of Nephrology Physician Assistants. Zachary loves cycling and advocates for organ donation at bike races throughout the Southeast.
Samicca Berry, LISW-CP, CCTSW
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND CO-FOUNDER
Samicca is a transplant social worker with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health-Transplant Program-Mid-Carolinas in Lancaster, SC. She previously worked as a dialysis social worker for over ten years before joining the transplant team. She has over 20 years of experience and is passionate about helping others. Recently, she won the Lee Suszycki Memorial Award issued by the Society of Transplant Social Workers and was named to the MUSC David J. and Kathryn Cole BRIHTE (Building and Retaining Inclusive High Potential Talent and Excellence) Leadership Academy cohort in 2024-25. She also enjoys photography and baking in her spare time.
